Up the Bormio side, down the Umbrail into Switzerland

The Bormio side of the Stelvio — 21 km at a steady 7% to 2,758 m, best ridden at sunrise before the traffic wakes. We came back down the Umbrail into Val Müstair, a stacked-switchback descent that is not for the faint-hearted.
